“We found our house uncomfortably cold in winter and very warm in summer. Initially, we considered installing a fireplace to solve the winter cold, but it didn’t address the summer heat, and maintaining a fire proved to be quite a hassle. They’re much cheaper to run than a wood fire or electric heaters, and more convenient too — with simple on/off controls and no fuel or mess to worry about.
